Art Toronto

Metro Toronto Convention Centre
October 26 - 29 2012
Toronto, Ontario

Founded in 2000, the Toronto International Art Fair is one of the most successful fairs in North America. From the world's newest, most exciting contemporary artists to work by modern masters, Art Toronto offers a unique and first-hand look at what's happening in the international art world.

“To have all the leading galleries in Canada under one roof is something that is dynamic and energizing for the market,” said Jean-François Bélisle, director for the Contemporary Art Galleries Association of Québec. “Not only do all the galleries come, but all of the museum directors from across the country and major collectors attend as well.  For international gallerist Sundaram Tagore who has galleries in Hong Kong, Beverly Hills and New York, Art Toronto offers a unique experience: “It's all about regional exposure, and we are able to get that here”.

In addition to 108 international galleries, Art Toronto also features an engaging and diverse cultural program that includes speakers, special curated projects, panel discussions and docent-led tours. Art Toronto is held annually at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Canada's top convention and trade-show facility located in the heart of downtown Toronto.

Art Toronto opens with a benefit for the Art Gallery of Ontario on Thursday, October 25, 2012.
